• After 16 public hearings, WTA adopts Port Sonoma as its sole North Bay site. WTA's Policy and Implementation Plan calls for at least 8 new routes tripling ridership by 2025

Feb 2005

• After 15 public hearings, Sonoma County Transportation Authority includes Port Sonoma as project

Aug 2005

• Congress approves $20 million for Port Sonoma as part of 7 year omnibus transportation bill

2006

• Environmental opportunities and constraints identified

2007

• Terminal site planning begins
